Is anyone having this problem? I clean the inside of the rims which is aluminum and they are pitting. Does anyone have a cleaning product that will keep this from happening? I am currently using eagle 1 tire and rims spray. It says it is good for ALL types of rims. Is this a rim problem or am I using the wrong type of cleaner?

I would try switching cleaners, couldn't hurt. I don't have any pitting on mine and I use a pretty strong cleaner- Adam's All-Purpose Cleaner.

I'd say try stepping up to either an Adam's or Zaino product, or even just try something else you can find at the store, like Mother's or Meg's. What are you using to scrub? Or do you just spray and let it sit and then hose it off?

I am looking for the meguiars cleaner and will be switching as soon as I can find some.
