Bye-bye PT Cruiser

The last PT Cruiser rolled off the line on Friday. It was in production for 10 years.

Interesting little tidbit, the PT cruiser was intended to increase the CAFE score of their truck fleet.

i personally dont like the car, but it was pretty popular. i would compare it to the vw beatle. the girls seems to like it. and it seemed like a decent car. it was a hit for chrysler atleast.

PT CRUISER

I had a nightmare one night. This is when I owned my Pontiac G6 though. I came out of the technical college one night after my class got done and my LIVIN UP plates were on a cruiser They evenutally found my G6 in Chicago completely stripped down

I am a Mopar fan start to finish, but I never really liked the PT Cruiser... the "concept" of a retro small car was a good idea, but I just did not like the styling. The HHR was a better execution IMO...

Still, the PT Cruiser was a success, and has quite a loyal following. The convertible version is probably a fun little car...

Another interesting tidbit, the HHR and PT Cruiser were designed by the same guy.

Sad that today was the PT's last day. It should have been 8 years ago. All the time between then and now has just been senseless misery. I'll never be able to figure out why they wanted the PT Cruiser to soldier on for so long after they killed the Neon.

This didn't really happen, right? You mean "nightmare" in the sense it was a bad dream. Right?

well GOOD! I rode in one once... scariest thing I've ever rid in on the highway... it felt like it was about to fall apart.
