im confused here. it says he was assisting another officer in a foot pursuit, but how fast was the guy running for the cop to be driving like this?

HOLY MOLEY!

I could see how it happened. If the officer was going fast enough to "cut him off at the pass", it seems plausible. Glad to hear he's okay.

So let me see if I understand this gripe. The LEO was assisting a fellow officer, pursuing a suspect, and you're complaining b/c he was speeding?

I would try to explain it to you, but I don't think it would be any use doing so.... wow. I hope the officer makes a full recovery, and I personally would like to extend a big thank you to all C5.com LEO for putting it out there everyday in order to keep the public safe.

Thank you!

Every job has fringe benefits.

Didn't read the article and don't care to, but I got no problem if an LEO wants to bend a little. Long as they are being safe.

They are trained.
