HELP ned to decide now 2010 vs 2011

There is only one of the 2010 2SS RS with the options and color I want left in So Cal. My bro the Ford fleet mgr. says if I can only get $1000 off sticker (which I can but probably no more than that), that I should just order the 2011 and pay a few more bucks. His reasoning is that the 2011 will be worth $2-4K more at resale due y to being "newer".

Any thoughts/advise on this and...

Does anyone think Chevy will offer incentives on the 2010 by Labor Day?

I'm literally driving to the dealership in :20

HELP!

THANKS

IMHO I do not see any incentives coming..........they still are selling really well here.........
I went with the 2010 because the HUD was not something I really wanted and I liked the idea of having a first year of the 5th gen.
Let us know what you do!!
Good luck

a lot of bought real close to invoice when we ordered 2011s. 5 grand off invoice might make it worth looking at a 2010.

it would all depend on the price. You should be able to get more then 1000$ off sticker for a 2010. I got my 2010 Rally Yellow 2SS RS with black stripes/ polished alum. wheels/ and sunroof for 36700$ in april. Which is around 1100$ off sticker . I would think you could get a 2010 for a couple hundred under invoice or at least invoice.

I would have waited for the 2011's had i known they'd be out in july. But no regret i love my camaro.

$5K off sticker ain't happening here in So. Calif. I'm getting close to $1200 off as of right now.

There are around 300 miles on the odometer! A lot of test drives in this bad boy.

Boils down to do you want the HUD or not. The HUD only increases the price of the car $359.00 this year. Make your best deal.

if it has 300 miles on it I would pass as its been "tested" quite a bit. If you still want that car then i'd be asking for at least 3000-3500$ off the sticker. I could have bought the demo car with 500-600 miles for $2500 off msrp as it had some advertising cash attached to it but i passed. MY car came with 150 miles and I wasn't thrilled, but it was because it was driven from another dealer that dealer was 140~ish miles away.

Your money. You can buy one from anywhere and have it sent. Impulse buys are fun though. Good luck!

I bought my 2011 2SS/RS for $750 below invoice, so there are some nice deals to be had out there.

But get the car you WANT, not the car that 'will do'...
