What's up dude welcome to the forums, I think the mirror just has some sort of sticky paste on it or something like that. If I'm right then you can probably just pull it of. I'm not sure though so I don't want you to go and break it because I told you so.

When they tinted my windshield, they put the tint edge right next to the edge of the existing window shading behind the mirror so they didn't have to remove the mirror. Hard to see the edge and no need to worry about the mirror falling off because it wasn't replaced properly.

Go get a girl, one of the freaky hyper ones. Go park somwhere out in the middle of nowhere, dark corner in a public park, your driveway, anywhere really. Then just start goin to town, lol. BELIEVE me, that mirror will find a way to the floor, lmfao.

But seriously, I'm pretty sure there are solvents for the glue. I remember my Mom having to change her mirror in her car when I was like...11. And she got some stuff in a bottle and after applying it it popped right off.

Ha,that would work.I got it tinted without taking it down but,it's not the best job in the world. The same day I tinted it a huge rock hit my windsheild and it instantly spiderwebbed. So when I get a new windsheild put in I'll prolly end up tintin it again. But now i have a lil experience doin it plus,I won't have the mirror to worry about.
