HRE P40 + questions
I am requesting a photoshop of an IBM 1SS with HRE P40 black 20" wheels. My camaro is on order and I would like to purchase these rims before it arrives.
HRE doesn't make anything specific for the camaro, and a search here doesn't show much, but will the corvette ones fit in terms of offset and clearing the brembos? I was reading on m3post too that many of the M3 aftermarket wheels should fit on the camaro, but I don't want to jump the gun yet until someone like one of the vendors can verify that they do in fact fit. If I were to get the HRE P40s in front 20x9 and rear 20x10.5, what would the offset need to be to clear the brembos. Also planning on reusing the factory rubber unless I can get a fairly new, unscratched used HRE P40s from M3post forums with tires already mounted. I guess I would need to purchase 4 new TMPS for these rims. If one of the members here have an SS with HRE P40s, could I get the specs on the rims?

That's my black SS in the picture above.
Call Chris at HRE - I worked with him on mine, and he knows the exact offsets required to maximize tire size without rubbing. Ric |

HRE definitely makes Camaro spec Monoblok wheels. I've sold a couple sets of them already. Big fan of the P40, I have a set of them on my Viper. If you are interested, I can help.

All HRE's are custom spec'd to order if you like. Or you can use their suggested offsets.
But from experience all "their" fitments are spot on. |

Petersimov,
HRE does not offer a Monoblock wheel with a lip. It is the only series of wheel they sell without one. The 790R, 560R are probably the two best options you would have in a "P40" style wheel with a lip, and the 790R will allow for the biggest lip. Sam |
