White bezels - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey everyone,

I put some white bezels on my IBM w/ White Rallies. I did this awhile ago before I stored my car for school (I'm up in San Francisco now). Haven't seen white bezels on the forum yet so I thought I'd share.

My mom said it was a bad idea because the taillights would look like eyeballs but personally I like them (she likes them now too). A red lettered, white outline, decal on my rear window and my red lettered license plate cover give the taillights enough accenting red to make the bezels look good I think. Last year I thought about painting them black, but understood it would look ridiculous to put any black on a car that has no black anywhere.

P.s. I had one hell of a time removing these bad boys, I actually quit trying for a few months. But I formulated a good system, so if anybody wants any tips just PM me.

Looks pretty cool. Maybe it would look even better if you make the diffuser white?

Do the bowtie in red and make the chrome trim around it white it would complete the look perfectly IMO

I wasn't sure if I would like it...but man that is really sharp! Wonder if it would give it a cleaner look if you were to put on a rear white out strip (versus the rear black out)

If someone told me they were going to do that I'd try to talk them out of it, but after seeing it, I think it looks really good. Good job!

I think it looks good but i would do something with the bowtie also.

wow after reading thread i didnt think I would like it but it looks really good, my suggestion is to have the bow-tie IBM, and have a white diffuser

Well I'm happy this is appreciated by others. Yeah I really need to figure out something with the bowtie. White outline with blue inside, or red inside with white outline. That rear white out strip looks good in my head, as long as it makes it look like the strip is connecting to the bezels a little bit. Decision decisions.
