Why can't we have black as an option for painted stripes. i am not a big fan of the vinyl. so i am going with white stripes but i think black would look alot better on cyber gray.

No one is getting painted stripes from the factory, regardless of color. They are all vinyl.

white for me, and vinyl is easy to remove and not only that...(at least I think)...much cheaper

For Camaro Big Vinyl has been used since 1997 on the 30th Annv. editions. Seems to work Ok. I think if we are lucky enough to get just the correct stripe length for the front on the cars we (and the Camaro) will be doing just great.

i guess i need to back and read again but i thought i read that you can get white and cyber gray stripes painted from the factory.

Been meaning to ask for a while... why would anyone "rub it with a dipper"?

I was hoping to get black from the factory too... had originally ordered white, but wife thought it wouldn't look good with the IOM interior.

Get it done by a shop. I might do stripes, but wouldn't do vinyl b/c it's just dumb.
