NON-RS TO RS WIRING DIAGRAM w/RUNNING LIGHTS

Hello again. This question has nothing to do with the DRL's...I have a little different wiring issue that I need help with. I am installing the RS headlights into a non-RS Camaro. So, I just bought the RS projector w/halos headlights. and I purchased the wiring harness from ottobody customs. everthing plugs in and works fine. Note the RS headlights have a 4 pin plug harness. The non-RS headlights use a three plug wire harness. Now plugging in a three wire harness into a 4 wire harness requires one to power the halo's externally. Now in the instructions, It directs me to clip the center wire on the amber light harness. And attach halo wire to it. Note, the center wire on the amber lights is for the amber running lights. The other two wires are ground and blinker/flashers. So by doing this. Like the amber running lights, (now nonfunctional because I clipped the wire). the halo's would remain on all the time. I do not want my halo's running all the time. Sometimes I just want the amber running light on. So I want to use a 5 terminal relay to be able to switch between the Halos's and the amber running lights. This way one or the other will always be on by my choice. In my diagram I have layed out what I think will work to both power the relay and the lights. But because I'm not an electrial engineer. I was hoping for some input from other users with electrical background. After clipping the center wire I rerouted the leads to power the switch and relay and routed the relay leads back to the halos and Amber running light respectively. Do you see any problems, voltage variance or drop that might cause an issue. worse come to worse I can alway just power them from the open fuse box. But I am hoping to utilize the power coming from the amber running lights... Any and all input is appreciated...

You can purchase th OEM RS headlights on ebay. there are a couple of sets up for auction right now. Look to pay about $800.00 for a pair. And I also bought the wiring harness from ottobody for a $100.00. Now I just need to be reasured that my wiring diagram to control the halo's and running lights seperately works without causing issues for my electrical system.

I just finished my non-RS to RS OEM HID w/Halo's upgrade, Purchase a set of OEM HID w/Halo's. Then I purchased the wiring harness from Todd over at ottobody. Everything hooked up and works perfectly. Here's a few pic of before and after...

This really is a simple upgrade. I did it this morning by myself...
