Chevy.com not accurate pics

So I was building the 2011 Camaro on Chevy's website and things didn't seem accurate compared to actual pictures.

For instance in the interior photo thread on this site a gray cloth interior has black door panels with gray carpeting. On Chevy's website it shows gray insert door panels and black carpeting.

Which way is it supposed to be? Are there differences that are unannounced? Please clarify for me or tell me my eyes or monitor is wrong thanks.

Also the color palettes don't flatter the real life colors of theses cars- just like the aqua blue scandal(off topic I know).

after 6 months or so, it had the lowest volume of sales. Blame GM for misrepresenting ABM as one of the ugliest blues out there. Honestly, the blue they had in their books looked nothing like an actual ABM

rather sad too, since ABM is definitely such a head-turner!

to the OP: just trust what you read and see on this forum, it's much more accurate than the chevy build website

Abm is a sexy color. Gm really needs to fix the Camaro site, it horribly represents the Camaro Colors. Don't use computer generated trashy looking Cars, use a real picture, its not that hard, you have well over 100k cars built. Im happier now that when you add rs or stripes, it actually adds them on the car. The 21's should be added if you select them. The RS wheels should not look like they are blackish.

The site runs much better, but the mistakes are easily noticeable to anyone who cares about the Camaro. Aqua blue, Imperial blue, and CGM look way off...and in a negative way

Take a look at CGM on the Camaro, then on the Corvettes... TOTALLY different colors.

CGM on the Camaro on the site looks horrible, but on the Corvette it's just a shade off black (much closer to what it looks like in person).
