over active dog, give em benadryl

Well I know what you think, you can't give a dog people drugs but thats what the vet said to give Sugar which is a tiny dog, less then 20lbs, dind't have to change the dose. 1 pill twice a day for her belly rash to help cure the itch so she would stopp nawin at it.

But I gotta say, the knock out effect of benadryl was half the battle.
No time to itch when your on a benadryl stooper

I can see this coming in handy later

Our dog was going nuts with "hot spots". Just couldn't stop biting at them. Gave some benedryl, but still had to take him to the vet for an alergy shot. Our dog is so lazy I couldn't tell if he slowed down or not.

I think this comes mainly from feeding commercial dog foods. I had a lot of problems with this until I switched to blue wilderness. Expensive ,but worth every penny.

The odd part was it was only on her right side, belly and thigh, beat red, bumpy rash kind like poison ivy but dogs can't get that, only spread it.

I used to have a Blue Heeler that was allergic to grass. We gave him Benadryl and it helped him.

The Red Heeler I have now gets children's aspirin because she's old and gets around slow.

We typically will give our daughter, muscle relaxers and Bourbon to get her to sleep.

I'm gonna try catnip on my dog.

We've got two 4yr old Boxers ,nothing really calms them down.We give the male benadryl for itchy ears ,it doesn't seem to faze him.
They are great dogs though.

We give our English Mastiff benadryl.... it's about one milligram per lb of dog weight... So, in our case, we give Satchmo 8- 25 mg capsules as a dose. He weighs 200 lbs...We buy the Walgreens brand...
