Thanks to Camarofreak and Blade for organizing the 1st official 5th generation Carolinas Camaro Club meet today in Charlotte. I believe we had around 20 5th gen Camaros there in our own section. Cars & Coffee at the Panera off I-77 at North Lake Mall brings all types of cars there as you'll see in the pics. Anything from Camaros and Mustangs to old muscle cars, to an SLR McLaren to Lotus's, Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches, Vipers, Vettes, Kharmann Ghias, and some rice thrown in, and yes--a group of Smart Cars that were driving through harrassing everyone with their MPGs! all types of rides there, lots of fun. Happens every 1st saturday of the month.

We decided on the club logo and tshirts, dues, and are planning some events, with meets once a month. Some of the guys went out to Zmax dragway to a muscle car show and run. Looking forward to the club events in the future! good to see all of you out there and nice to meet everyone!

I wish I had gotten more of the Camaros. I know there were definitely others taking photos. yep, got the Smart cars! yeah, maybe one got a ticket. Missed you there Bear! I was bragging about your hp numbers!

What a great day and I have sun burn to prove it! I have to say my favorite part of the day was the cruise down to Zmax dragway and driving in past all those mustangs. lol
