Just finished slaving over the car, yet again, for 3 hours. Even armor-all'd all the plastic, tires, and went over every inch with quik-detailer to get all the missed spots. All bug matter of the grille, front end, etc. As perfect as could be....

Went and got the oil changed. Turned TC+SB off, hit the freeway on ramp like a bat out of hell went all of a sudden, a f***king swarm of what appeared to be honey filled insects splatters the entire front of the car!!!! Like I drove straight into a swarm of African killer bees or something...thanks God

Pull over to a gas station to squeegie the windshield. Get home and the ENTIRE front grille, hood, and above the windshield are SPRAYED with sticky-ass bug matter. Tried to quik-detail it off, but it felt like I was just rubbing it in

Oh, and I have a black one. Any of you who don't have a black Camaro have NO IDEA what that means...never again.

Wow, sorry for your troubles. I HONESTLY wanted to get a black Camaro, and do the whole "Blacked out" thing, but after owning a black Cobra, I will never own another black car again.

WOW that rly sucks. I knwo black was one of my mainc hoiced in color when gettin the camaro but I went with yellow cuz black was jus too much work and yellow was my 2nd choice.

Thanks fellas. It was literally a SWARM...like maybe 50 bees. And I was going fast, so they splattered everywhere. No time to bounce off the glass or deflect.

It's actually pretty hilarious. I mean right after I wash the damn car...what are the odds. must be paying off some karma or something.

I've hit the occasion gnarly bug before...but a damn swarm?????

Never had that drastic of an experience with mine, but understand the frustration. Mine is black as well... every time I take it out, I come home immediately to try and clean bug residue from my front end before it dries too much. Part of the fun of black

Yes, I feel your pain. I have had 3 black cars. I won't own another again. My SS is IOM and I love it. Black is beautiful when it's clean but that only last as long as your driveway. Be glad it was only bugs and not gravel. LOL!
