Anyone with a cover?

Anyone here have a cover for their Camaro?
I have one and I noticed that I will get blackish buildup on the rear creases of my car from the cover.
Anyone else notice that?

I have the factory one and haven't noticed any blackish buildup. I do get tire shine crap on the inside of my cover though...

Blackish buildup?
Like from dirt and stuff? Mine looks dirty on the inside near the scruntchy part as well. I washed it and tumble dryed it and it still wouldn't come out. Oh well. still does the job.

The factory one looks like a big parachute. It would be ok for outdoor storage but one from California covers or like that would be better for indoor storage IMO.

The gm car cover is over priced I think. I just ordered one from coverking, a fraction of the cost and does a better job.

You should wash the car before covering..probably why you have the buildup.

I used mine right out of the box and no issues here...used in probably 30 times.

May have something to do with pollen in your area?

Dave dropped the prices of the GM covers....you'd have to email him for the latest and greatest price. But I know we're going through quite a few, thanks to the CAM5 Crew!

It's a custom fit application, coverking has the camaro size already. I too have a garage but in Vegas there is alot of dust and it's my weekend car so it sits in the garage for weeks in.

My new cover from CA Covers was just shipped. I've had their covers on my previous '82 Camaro and really liked it.

Now I just need the car!!
