Shoot for the 2010 or hold out for 2011?

My wife and I have been looking at getting the 2010 Camaro for about 2 months or so. We agreed that it would be prudent financially to wait till we have a larger down payment. I'm a huge Camaro fan and really wanted the new release 2010, but now that I've heard/seen little glimpses of the 2011 I'm starting to get excited about the 2011.

Is anyone else waiting for the 2011? Would there be any disadvantage to waiting to get a 2011 other than not getting it during its revival?

i'd wait until after sema then decide or if you like green, but when the 11's come out you might get a little off a 10 on price

Well one disadvantage and to me the biggest is that the cost of the options on the '10 may go up on the '11 and most likely there will be a base MSRP increase as well.

This may sound silly, but I like the idea of owning the first year of this body style and being the first kid on the block to own one.

That being said, once the 2011's come out, you could probably save some money on the 2010 if they have some sitting on lots still.

They MAY also make positive changes just as they did with the GTO's as well... I had to get the wifey a new whip first, so I will prolly have to wait for a 2011...

I know what the colors for 2011 are, but don't know of any physical changes. Anyone working on a new facia or grill? Are the tail lights changing? How 'bout factory installed Hurst short throw shifter?

Not happy about the color changes, because I don't know what color to buy now.

It was announced in 2006. Don't you think you've waited long enough?
