My K&N CAI
So after a long time (i was one of the beta test cars for K&N) i got my unit today, It looks good from what i see, The air tube is light and the chrome is the best i have seen in some time, (you can get the air tube in a black plastic).
The K&N comes with the air filter side wall to separate the engine compartment and all the hardware needed to assemble the unit to the car, Will put it on after i get some work done, But this is from the today. |

I'm amazed that this is the best K&N could engineer after all this time- a 90 degree polished tube and an air filter adapter which looks identical to the one on m 2001 Mustang GT K&N intake. Maybe simple is better?

This may be out of line but, will the installation of the K&N CAI void the warranty? Will it give GM an excuse to void the warranty even though it is basically just a modified air filter/

Installed mine yesterday...I love the look but I love the snarl it makes even more.
