The only thing anyone is going ape over is how everyone claimed the 5.0 was maxed out and how it wouldn't respond as well to mods. I guess they were wrong.

That's not true. Autoblog ran a 12.9@112 with a different one. All of the GT's with the optional summer tires have run faster than the all season equipped cars which shouldn't be surprising. The base tires are way too small for the GT. The SS and the 5.0 are pretty much dead even.
