The only thing anyone is going ape over is how everyone claimed the 5.0 was maxed out and how it wouldn't respond as well to mods. I guess they were wrong.

I don't see anyone in either the unofficial or official 1/4 list trapping 118 with just bolt ons.

That's not true. Autoblog ran a 12.9@112 with a different one. All of the GT's with the optional summer tires have run faster than the all season equipped cars which shouldn't be surprising. The base tires are way too small for the GT. The SS and the 5.0 are pretty much dead even.

it was actually very common here and a lot of GM boards. 118mph traps is FAST for any type of car! VERY IMPRESSIVE

There were definitely a ton of people here saying that.

I hate the Internet. You guys misunderstood. He said lots of people were saying the 5.0 would not respond well to mods and it was pretty close to being maxed out. I said there was not alot of people saying that and anyone with half a brain would know that.

lol 2 valve,3 valve,four valve. ford uses every trick in the book including gears and weight. I cant wait to cut a new one down.
