my car is in the yard about 30 mintues from my dealer. how long did it take your guys cars to come from the yard? how long does the dealer take to clean it up so you can pick it up?

2 weeks, never got any trucking information. Rail yard was less than 60 minutes away.

At the rail yard? Mine took about a week from there. They dont offload them from the rail cars directly to the trunk going to your dealer so there can be some delay.

It took my car 4 days to travel from Oshawa to San Antonio by train (1700 miles). Then it took another 7 days to get hauled the final 90 miles to my dealer. Those 7 days w/o any tracking info were the toughest. Hopefully yours won't take as long...

My understanding is normally a few days. What I also have been told from a reliable source is that the truck does not move unless the carrier has more than a few cars for a load. In other words it may sit for a day or two waiting for other cars to arrive.

Just drive down to cottage grove and hop the fence. Sneak into the shed, steal the keys and grab your car from the yard.

Think of all the time you will save posting a new thread everyday about it....

i just got an email saying it left the yard yesterday. this is my first ever car so i think it is even more exciting. sorry for all the posts i just cant help it thats all i think about in school. lol

My car unloaded from the railcar at 10am Friday morning and it showed up Monday May 11, 2009 at around 3:30 pm. We performed the battery cable mod, which yours does not need, and washed off the outside of the car. I was at the dealer about and hour and a half.

Took my dealer about 3 hours to get the car ready for delivery.

Dealer should have got it last night then.

Cottage Grove to BC is about 30 minutes.
