Pedders Needs a Well Documented 5TH Gen for Drag Testing

If you own a 5th Gen that is basically a stock vehicle with NO suspension mods AND have a long list of published time slips showing consistent 60' runs WE WANT YOUR CAR FOR TESTING. We will be installing a set of Supercar Coilovers and maybe a bit more...

I think your 60' times will improve by 2 tenths. We need your car in Muskegon Michigan. It will probably take us two or three days. You will need to be available to make runs at the track. There will be no cost to you for parts or labor -- just the use of your car and your driving skills. Lodging is at your expense.

The car must be run on OE Wheels and Tires. You must have very consistent 60' times. You must be willing to come to Muskegon Michigan. You must be willing to let Pedders set up the car as we see fit.

You will end up with a faster car at no cost with bullet proof reliability. Apply here with your time slips in hand.

South Florida is great this time of year. What with temps in the 90's, humidity about the same, skeeters and oil closing in on our shorelines, what a great time to come down for a visit. Oh, and you could bring a few suspension parts with you. Just sayin'.

I thought about you as soon as I read this blufin.

There was another CGM at the track last night. Had a Magnusen Supercharger, Kooks full sytem with headers, etc. He did not beat your best time of 12.68. I think his best was a 12.87.

I know it was a cool night when you ran that run. But, damn this guy has alot of money into this thing for those times.

He did say he was having trouble hooking though.

It is worth the drive to Michigan. The Supercar coilovers retail for $3,700 and that does NOT include intallation.

Damn. Can you imagine having all those mods and not getting into the 11's. With better air I am confident he'll get there. I'm running 13's in this heat. Gimme a pm and we 'll head out to watch some racin, or we can run 'em!

What do you need to see to make your decision. How many timeslips do you want? Basic geometry; will it be lower? Stiffer? Softer? Etc

I could post the results on my Camaro, but all that would be is a MFG claiming the product did this or that. In a perfect world, we would have a forum member with a number of time slips showing consistent 60' times. That means both the car and the driver are consistent. If by bolting on our bits the times get better (and they will) our product works. That is why I am looking for a forum member that has an established 60' time so we can document the improvement.

The ride will be better than OE. These are 52mm remote reservoir bound and rebound adjustable coilovers. The massive volume of oil delivers incredibly smooth control. We do want to play with a couple of setup options. That i why I am a bit vague on what you will leave with. Could be sub-frame bushes and the Supercars. I won't know for sure until we are done. What I do know is that the car will leave our hands faster than it arrived.

I may not be your huckleberry. With a M6, the 60' times are eratic within a given range. I'll send them anyway if you're still interested.
