Trust me; this was the toughest decision I ever had to make. I searched dealers far and wide to find a vehicle with IOM so I could see it in person. Finally the local Chevy dealer in town received a IOM Colorado. I have studied that Colorado in every light possible, sun shinning, rain, night, over cast days, ect ect ect…. I’m sure the dealership thinks I was sizing up the place for my next big score… IMHO, the only time that IOM looks orange is at night with all the dealer’s parking lot lights on. If the color looked like that in the sun I would have ordered it. In the sun it looks dull, almost like tomato soup…

IOM is still a cool color but it’s not the orange I wanted. :(

When most people see the color they ask “Is this the Victory Red or the IOM” because the colors are that close to each other. The color should have been named Inferno Red Metallic.
Too funny. I do not think I have ever scared a dealership yet. I can imagine that conversation with the police...

To me IOM is exactly what I am thinking. A cross between orange and red, just like an inferno. The flame always burns orange and red as the color implies.

The solstice does look tomato soupish in the shade with regular windows, but when you tint the windows and get it polished it has a great look to it. I think it pops.

I wish I could see the Camaro in this color before my order is pulled. The lines on the Camaro should alter how the paint pops in sunlight, street light or moon light. Either way, I am stuck on this color. It is me all the way. I hope everyone is charged up about their colors as much as I am for mine.

What color are you getting?

you know how many hundreds of thousends of butts have sat in that seat?

you sit into your car maybe 3 times a day... after a year, that's about 1000 times.

that seat had that happen in about half a day.

that on a couple of cars. Folks have made the same comment. My son had cloth Recaro seats and after time the cloth in the same area wore through. Must be the angle of the cushion at that point, maybe it needs to be a bit flatter so our rearends don't cause it to fold over.

Wher do you think I'm keeping my Camaro? Out on the street????
