Update: My Whipple sits up really high in the engine bay, and actually rubs into the liner. I wasn't really actively searching for a hood, but one of our fellow C5 members gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. This is the ACS SS9 sleeper hood. It's the same hood that Lingenfelter uses on their builds, except it doesn't have the plexiglass window (which I didn't want anyway). The cowl sits a little taller, so I'll be able to do something really cool inside.
It's now being painted and should go on before the fest. Here are some shots of it unpainted and some others I found online. I didn't find many of the sleeper, so I had to Photoshop the plexiglass window out. |

R- You are so full of crap... j/k You would have bought a new hood if the little girl down the road suggested it. Face it, you have been inflicted with the "Camaro Virus" No known cure other than go with it... BTW - The hood does look really good ! |
