Help with my sport bike headlights - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So after months of debating to put a SC/turbo on my SS or not, i ended up spending the money on a used 2009 honda cbr 600 rr sport bike... I dont really care to join forums for that just yet as I just like to ride it for fun and im still mainly a camaro guy and ive been on these forums for many years so i figured I would ask you guys

but does anyone know if these halos are CCFL or LED, and can they be used as headlights to light up the road in front of you, or are they just for looks and not good for real night riding? I wanna put something similar on my bike as having only 1 headlight is stupid

opinions?

They are not bright enough to be used as a headlight. Same concept as in the camaros. If u get em, get LEDs. Just for show.
