Dusk Blue ???

I wont lie, I really really want ABM, the brochure was sh1te at colour representation, thats why I got a yellow SS-then when I saw digi pics on here, I was gutted.......

That's a very valid question. I would guess that it isn't, but guessing is so much like assuming, and we all know what that can do.

Does anyone know what this specific paint type is or who could tell us?

Thinking about it from a practicality viewpoint, if GM is going to offer a new color across the board, they probably won't go with an exceptionally difficult or expensive type.

They haven't said that ZL1 would get any "special" color choices, though they also haven't said it won't. I would be willing to go an extra grand or so if necessary - if the dusk was a limited color.

I voted wrong but could definately see myself in that color. I think it's great as a replacement for CGM, but still think we need a nice blue in addition.

I agree on both points. In a similar regard to Supersonic Blue, I view the Dusk color to favor grey more even though there is some blue mixed in. That's the reason why I view it as a great replacement for CGM but at the same time don't think it will satisfy the desires of those that want a true blue.

I'm glad we were able to identify a color that many are seeming to rally around. I'd order it without hesitation if made available, so I'm definitely on board. I don't know how realistic it is, especially since GM is already testing a replacement color for CGM, but it can't hurt to let our voices be heard. If you notice in the SEMA 2009 thread, the Dusk model gathered a lot of praise and support even back then.

If you also notice in that thread, GM introduced a "Camaro Synergy" concept that eventually brought it's electric green paint job to market. Cleary GM was testing market reaction to these concepts. So you never know what plans GM had or has in store for it's Dusk concept and it's awesome paint.

Also, the official color name as mentioned in the thread linked is Berlin Blue (good to know).

And Scarrzz, you forgot to add this profile shot. It makes the Camaro look like a weapon, like a piece of dark, cold steel

I'm 99% sure I'll be going for the machine cut wheels even though they cost extra. I like the black/silver contrast on them.

I just drove past a grey mus-take in the sunshine and it didn't look sinister at all, just dull. I'm talking about the color, besides just being ford-y looking.

This car is my desktop on two of my computers and on my G2x. The interior is different and beautiful, the @ss is amazing, and I looooooove the color! A mix between the IBM and CGM - stunning.

If they make this car, I may be tempted to have a Camaro for warm, dry weather and a Camaro for a DD.

if it was different, they'd probably have a new name for it - unless it's black (that one seems to keep the same name for different shades)
