Adams and mcguires stuff only is what i use. Adams is easier to use. Works very well.

could be that the car is just not a pure black..... there are many variations of black and i don't think the camaro uses the darkest black color to begin with.

It's probably the spray on wax you're using. Paint defects on black Camaros would've been a gigantic issue by now were there an issue. Not a sexier color, IMO, than black on a muscle car. They're like mirrors though in that they show everything. Clay bar would be your best bet, after you've hand washed it of course.

I have a black SS also, I spent the last three days and nearly 12 hours total using Adams products and being a first time user of there products and buffer, my car came out great, looks like black glass now. They have great instructional videos they send with there product to.

Yeah, save your money for a quality wax. The black waxes I have used on my Z71 truck merely temporarily hide light scratches. Didn't bring out the black any better than other quality waxes I've used.
