Great to have you part of our press review, Joe. You and Chris have provided a great deal of help to the Camaro team with your honest, accurate reporting. By the way, I will personally verify that you left with 'Perma-grin' !! Al O.

Joe has always amazed me in that his maturity far exceeds his age. He's intelligent, trustworthy, level-headed, and he's demonstrated thru his actions that he's deserving to have such an opportunity. (not saying by any means that others are not deserving...)

I think that simply reading his exceptional reporting of his experiences answers the question.
Why can't some Journalists write this well? That's not a slam at anyone - but when was the last time you read an article that felt like you were actually in the car with the driver?? Myself? I can't recall......

And for what it's worth? I'd be proud to have Joe as a son. (I'd say "brother" but I'm ancient and he's a young man in his 20s....) Further, I'm proud to call him "Friend" --

(.....and I had nothing to do with him being chosen......I know too many people due to my many years of travelling to Camaro/Firebird shows - thus the team picked the attendees...)
Thanks for the feedback FBodFather, I was literally at the edge of my seat reading his reviews, heart racing throughout. Joe is very exceptional with his writing. I look very much forward to hearing more about this car, and hopefully making it my first Camaro!! I've only owned one other car(300zx) which was really fun, but my heart has always been with american muscle and honestly no other car stirs my soul like the Camaro !

Wow! This review is not only awesome, it is extremely credible because it comes from one of "US" and not from a journalist that might be jaded. Thanks Dragoneye for the good write up. My next challenge is figuring out how I sneak this one past the wife and order a ZL1! Do you think she will notice that Orange Krate has an LSA and a voice change? Hmmm. I am seriously going to have to mull this over.

Well there You go...I've been wondering what happened to that all along! - its a shame though because I really liked that ZL1 logo on the shifter

You answered my other question too about the fog light color - that will be one thing I have to change.

Well that, and adding a pinstripe to the wheels, plus getting the Camaro text on the wheels in IOM...but other than that nothing...maybe

Al!! Nice to see you post!

I wanted to reiterate how thankful I am to have been part of this - you guys were all great!

And the car was PHENOMINAL - you all have certainly outdone yourself, and that's what caused the perma-grin!

Hope to see you again soon, perhaps at C5Fest!

Joe,

Which is more exciting driving a ZL1 at VIR or reading what Mr. O and Mr. S have to say about you?

I plead the 5th (except to say I think the world of those two)...this thread is about the ZL1.
