Every kit I've seen are ALL self contained now. That's the whole reason you get a procharge + the intercooler. Maybe years ago the had oil lines. Nothing recent tho

Not man companies offer oil fed lines. You have to ask for it. As an example, you may order Vortech's kit which offers the V3 blower, which is self contained, however, you can request their V2 blower which is oil fed, and fits on the same bracketry. Their Ysi, is ONLY oil fed. Companies push the self-lubricating units because they can make money off the oil they sell. Look at the Paxton superchargers as well, they have the NOVI 1500 and 1500SL. SL meaning self-contained, but either will work, you just have to do the plumbing. Same thing with ProCharger, the SC stands for self contained, but I'm sure you can get oil fed. The benefit to an oil fed unit is that the oil you change in your car is the same oil that's going through the unit.

Only the bolt on mods on my sig, its at 10 pound of boost with a 4.13 pulley and the stock cam. Hopefully I will get to install my Vengeance stage-2 cam soon and the rest of the mods to increase my power to over 600 + rwhp. I dynoed it on a mustang dyno, no idea what it will make on a dynojet.

I can't see all of your sig. 10 lbs of boost won't put to much of a strain on the motor? And just not wanting to mess anything up until I can build the bottom end of motor. So I guess my question is a stock ls3 motor can handle 10 lbs of boost w/ ease?

Depends on what kit you want
They have full kits with injectors and a tuner. Then they have tuner kits without injectors and a tuner. My d1 with 3 core tuner kit was 6525 shipped

I would rather my blower have its own oil then depend on getting it from the motor. Only two Procharger headunits aren't self contained so I would assume thats for a reason.

Are you LS3 or L99?

From what I have heard and read, the A6 is usually good up to about 500 rwhp. Talk to Tracey about Craig Shockeys car and Wayne Sand's car. Wayne has a procharged A6. Craig has a pretty wild NA, A6.

You problem if its an LS3 is the clutch, axels and spider gears. The M6 typically holds up pretty good except for Andrew... but thats just Andrew, he jsut did the M6 to A6 conversion. Hes the D1SC that just did 7xx rwhp.

Those guys will hook you up good...

Oh, you're good then.... its at the track where you'd see the problems with the M6.

Have fun... maybe I will run into you sometime there or something. You be at DynoDay May 19?
