LEO can be good at spotting them (I've never had one spot mine) but from people I know and the guys I work with if they do spot one on a person they either do nothing or politely and discreetly let them know their gun is visible when the do ______. Unless your flaunting it in an unsafe manner even if spotted most LEO will leave you alone unless they are the anal jerk type

My first AR15 was a Bushmaster Carbon-15 lightweight. Its pretty cool, carbon composite uppper/lower. The rest is normal AR stuff. I also recently built a new AR15 from parts. I just cant get to the range often enough now )

My new IWB holster should be here tomorrow. I can finally start carrying! Maybe I'll have to do the WalMart Walk! They do have some 9MM and I need to stock up...

Carried that my 1 year in the Jewelry Business. Little thing was HEAVY! Sold it because I just couldnt shoot it accurately...even with a 3.5lb trigger. Kicked so hard it would tear the skin of the joint of my thumb. Now I carry a kel-tec pf-9 and p3at. The pf-9 is imho the best ccw 9mm on the market for the money.(so dont throw in the kahr pm9 guys lol) |

Picked up a Mosin Nagant 'Sporter' from a friend. It actually appears to be an M44 carbine w/ ATI stock, ATI scope mount and bent bolt, VOMZ 4x32 Russian scope, and a muzzle break/flash hider, and a sling. Not bad really. Needs a Timney trigger and some handloads and she'll probably shoot pretty nice.

Those are fun guns to shoot cheap to own too. I own a couple Kimber 1911's but recently acquired one of my dream guns.....A 1943 issued Colt 1911A1. Local guy brought it to me after acquiring it from an older gentleman whose son owed the 1st guy dinero. Guy let me hold it long enough to research it a little and make sure things matched up. Paid $700 bucks for it. Can I say what what |

That's really cool. Doesn't get any more '1911' than that.
My Mosin Nagant is already being bought by a coworker. I was at Cabelas yesterday and saw a rifle in the used gun library that I just had to have. A Ruger M77 Mark II in .223 - MINT condition w/ a Nikon ProStaff 2-7x32 on it. I'd like to upgrade to a 4-12 ProStaff or a Redfield but other than that she's a beast little shooter.

I don't have one but I've seen them in action. It is a little hard to get the feel of but once you do, they are so fun. I'm currently saving up for another AR15 just so I can install one of those.

A Buddy put the slide fire on a S&W 15-22, used a Timney 3 lb trigger and Frog Lube. He's got his to run really good. Once you get used to the stock it is easy to do short burst or if you wish dump the whole mag. He has a BDM 50 round drum but last time I talked to him he hadn't used it. Not like using 25 round mags saves ammo. The slide fire cycles almost as fast as a true full auto. It would be interesting to check its RPM with a shot timer. I was surprised at the accuracy I could get using the slide fire.
