Black... because nothing looks more bad and beautiful. The easiest color to keep up is silver - shows dirt/dust/water spots, etc. the least.

I've had black color cars before and so I thought I knew what I was gettin into but damn this black is tough to keep clean I agree! IMO though black is the best color out there when she's all dolled up!

Chose black because I wanted a unique stripe color. Everything looks good on black. Finally decided on orange. Turned out great!

IOM was the one and only color for me. I had a black Z28 and upkeep was awful even though it looked great clean, so black was out. Blue has always been my favorite color and i surprised the people that know me when i made it very clear i did not want IBM (hate that color >.< ). I saw the Vert concept at the chicago auto show and that was all it took. I wanted a new camaro and i wanted it in orange, the official color of heaven.

Went with black because it is a great color but also because I couldn't find a white one with the options I wanted.

It was love at first sight ... (in the brochure) wasn't even looking for a car or Camaro for that matter ... saw th 45th and I wanted it ... had to sell my truck for the right price ... by then the closest one was 100's of miles away ... got it friday ... had to peek in the garage to make sure it wasn't a dream ..=)

Anyway...I liked IBM coz it's awesome dark, but bright during the day...and black at night. Coz I'm Batman.

Is the only SS on the lot that was a dark color in my price range. It was as basic as it could get. 1SS manual, non-RS manual. The dealer took off the stupid $3000 dealer mark up so the sale price was $30,800. I wasn't getting a Camaro if it wasn't a V8. I was looking at used cars when the dealer showed me a Camaro.

It was on a different lot. I told the dealer it had to be a dark car. Bright colors with my driving habits aren't good. Test drove a black 1SS auto first. When we started crunching numbers, it was a little to high for my comfort, payment wise. Dealer said the only way to cut the price any more would to be to get a manual (I preferred it anyway), but they only had one car that fit and it was a red car and it was on there other lot. The only red I had seen to that point was the Victory Red. I said I would look at it. We drove over and it was a Red Jewel. Even the dealer was supprised it was a dark car. They had never had a Red Jewel on the lot he worked at. I said its perfect. It was late at this point, so I drove it to the other lot as my test drive, and came back when they opened the next morning to buy it.

1969 Indianapolis 500 Camaro SS/RS ragtop was my 1st paint job in 74 been wanting one ever sense...orange on white but I had to go hardtop, no white tops from the factory in 2011

Hey, an old post to which I can contribute since someone else bumped it first!

I made my purchase choice based on options, availability, and price. I had no preference in color beyond NO SILVER/GRAY. My husband's last two cars were silver and gunmetal gray. Mine were green and blue. I need color in my life.

Can't get more colorful than IOM.

(though shhhhhh I actually like the CGM)
