A little bit angry about my order status

my dealer, I worked directly with the Sales Manager, seemed to have no idea of status, allways was we moved you up to number two, or we got the other VINs before you and your next............Well friday sac-au-lait (his last day of work at GM dealer) started answering order status, got my VIN and 3800 status, verified with dealer saturday, but noticed that the dealer was trying to sell cars and one car was not his biggest concern, he wants to sell cars and not able to look for my status every minute. Did tell me that as soon as it arrives he will bring directly over to my office (across the street), although the first time a CTF car came in for service check (a ABM 2LT m6) I was gone to a meeting.

pull credit aps wont hurt you unless you do like a million in a short time, checking credit is taking credit remember. Here is something to stay away from, made this mistake in college. A rugby team was having something where they had you sign up for credit cards and they got money for you signing up and they gave you something free. So 6 credit cards showed up, which i cancelled them all, not the best move. Not that hurt my credit or anything serious, it just hurt when I really did want to get a credit card. But my score is 760 so it didnt do anything.

You know if your dealer cant help, post a thread like who ordered march and whats your status, you can probably get a good idea where your car is from looking at others, although this depends on allocation

My 2SS/RS went from pre-order to order on the 2nd of April.

On the 8th of May it went to 3800 (produced with vin #)

My dealer told me it shipped on the 19th of May, but then last week we found out it actually was taken away from the factory on a truck to have the "factory rally stripes" installed. It will later come back to the factory and then be held up in QC hold. If it had shipped via train on the 19th it would have taken about 8 days to get to the railyard, and then another day or two to get to the dealer. Hope that helps.

That's what happened with my car. My dealer received my invoice on May 16th. It had a delivery date of May 18th. My dealer emailed me with the great news. May 18th came and went and my dealer kept telling me, "it will be hear any day."
Now its May 31st and my car still sits in QC.

Talk about a big let down. I went from thinking I would see my car any day. To being told we have no idea, when your car will get here.

But the latest word (from my dealer) is what we've been hearing lately. That the cars in QC are suppose to be shipped out in the next two weeks.

The dates really do matter from allocation. I just don't know what status code I'm at :(

from what I have seen you are probably at 3000 or 3400

Scans it in? lol. He could just copy and paste it... or hit the little print icon in the page and it will give him a PDF file which he can email to you.

The Salesman with 12yrs at the dealer I ordered from hasn't told me anything too useful. Other than that they placed the order (5/22) and then yesterday (5/30) that he'll have an order number & production week info this week. I was orginally in the dealership placing the order from my car 5/9, it seems like too long to me when most people are at a 3,000 status now unless mine goes 3,000 this week.

I can check your order status for you guys. It's super easy with the VIN.. I can even copy the txt from the order info screen onto here since there is nothing that needs to be legally hidden.

A little different with just order number... but possible nonetheless.

WTF????? You think yours should be made yesterday???
A lot of us ordered on Oct 13 2008 and are just now at 3000.
Now I get a little more pissed off every day and am thinking Japanese for the first time in 52 years of buying cars.
