No cel after header install
What's the longest someone has gone before their cel turned on after a header install. I've driven about 270 miles since I installed mine and it hasn't popped a code yet.

270 miles already? I would imagine it would come on any time now if it's already been that long. Took me under 100 miles for mine to turn on.

Lucky or it has already been tuned out.
I helped someone put on some headers and he went a while without the CEL. Can't remember how long but he eventually a tune. It's not completely unheard of to not get a CEL for a while but it could happen just about any time. If you don't care about drivetrain warranyt at this time but I would just go ahead and tune.

It was ninety nine cents!

I drove for a few months (1k+ miles) before my CEL came on after headers.

It came on as I was taking it off the lift, so you're doing pretty good to have it stay off for that long.

I want to say colder weather usually likes to help set them off too. So get ready.

I went several months without one. It eventually came on though. And at the time the car was a DD. When it came inspection time I just disconnected a battery cable for a little over 30 mins and it went off. It's not a DD anymore, but a couple months later still no light

seems like it will come on after idleing awhile, or after running it hard followed by driving in lower rpm's
