Here are the Camaro questions and answers. Most of it is news we all already know.

Q&A with Camaro content:

[Comment From Wayne]
The new Camaro SS has an outstanding powertrain...
[Ed Peper]
Thank you! We are so pleased with the reception Camaro has received in the marketplace. We have nearly 23,000 sold orders since the start of production.

[Comment From Sheth]
Will navigation and other features be added to Camaro in the short term? I once read that nav would be available late this year.
[Ed Peper]
Sheth, thanks for your question. The answer to that one is no. In all the research that we did with Camaro customers and prospects, a navigation screen was not high on their list. Camaro owners know where they're going and they want to get their fast so they don't look at the nav screen!

[Comment From Ellen]
When will we see the Camaro convertible?
[Ed Peper]
Q1 of the 2011 calendar year.

[Comment From Don Haller]
Rumors are that the plan for a Camaro Z28 have been postponed and worst case discontinued. Will we see a Z28?
[Ed Peper]: There are no plans for it right now.

That's all folks.
Nice comments. No mention of a HUD for the Camaro. Yes we know where we're going..we just want to be able to see how fast we're going without taking our eyes off the road. Plus other info a HUD would provide! Also how about a 4G hard drive availability for the radio since we've heard some troubles with the current radio?

Navigation, are you kidding me. It amazes me thatpeople actually need Navigation to get around. Use to be that getting lost was have then fun> I am so glad that the Camaro does not have Nav. The only improvement I could really see for this car is one basic and simple thing, more horsepower, but in all reality this car is fast enough, if you plan on racing this car you will mod it anyway and I do not believe there would be alot of people that would spend an extra 5000.00 on a car, remeber dealers are trying that with market adjustments and how is that working out?

guys, you are getting it all wrong about the z28

we dont need superchargers, reworked suspension, none of that.

we just need 185 hp v8s and ugly colour schemes

look at the 78, baddest camaro of all time

oh shit, its big bird

I mean, it's not that big of a problem for "us" wanting 500+hp, I guess it 's more of a problem for GM, people waiting aren't buyers, people waiting may be tired of waiting and may go on a Mustang GT500. These are dollars going away from GM.
Correct me if I'm wrong (which is highly possible): CAFE is'nt implemented yet, so make the Z as fast as possible before the standard (that may move when the administration will/may realize these are not realistic standards)

(Ps: what about building and selling the car outside of the US?)

Overall, I understand what you're telling us, but I'm not sure GM wil go better being shy.
CAFE escalates each year -- it doesn't just 'leap' --

It comes down to money.

Which many manufacturers don't have right now...........

Believe me -- I WANT THE Z28 -- but I'm also both pragmatic and an 'insider' - so I can see most viewpoints......

I could tell you but then I'd have to send out the black suburbans.

MEANWHILE: I have found that the D.I.C. really helps - you simply pull up the menu and put the MPH/KPH reading there - and it's just below your line of vision........

Well said "fbodfather"!!!...

Let's just go out and enjoy the 2010 Camaros we DO have right now, they are still more amazing than ANYTHING that's come along since the last Camaro generation...IMO...

So technically we are screwed, should we keep faith for say the next 2-5 years or call it quits.
