Sorry for the off-topic question, but I've been wondering about this for some time, (I don't have much of a life.), and I just got to ask. This color is not available for the camaro, but it is available for several other models in the Chevrolet line. It's called White Diamond Tricoat. Now you can get the Summit White color for no extra charge, but the white diamond tricoat is like an extra $975 bucks. I'm wondering what the deal is with this color. Why does it cost so much, and why do people get it, when it cost so much? Sorry folks, for the off-topic question, but I was just wondering.

Also, I saw this video the other day on youtube, and just went, "Oh my gosh." A brand new black ZL1 totally destroyed. What a bummer.:( 55k up in smoke. This car kind of looks like mine, except mine is a 2LS. I kind of pictured my car looking like this one, and just went, "Oh my gosh."

Unfortunately, haven't really met many enthusiasts. Corvettes have their own club but they rarely meet. The most people I meet is at the drag strip or autocross events, which are on hold (at least for me) due to the cold weather.

I did go to EP Motorplex this evening but the track was really slippery (on street tires). I ran a G8 and a new CTS-V, both fantastic cars in their own way.

Some colors that are put into production cost extra because the combination that is used to make that paint costs the company a little extra to make. Take Red jewel for example that was released back in 2010-2012, that particular color comprised of both red and black tomake the maroon that you see. So the extra $275 I believe it cost, was for the additional color used. Same applies to other paint such as the black diamond on the Cadillacs and such. It's usually not just a single color that painted on but whole process to get to cone out that particular way.

I'll never, ever understand why it is so difficult and why I am still so tired when having to get up this early for work with an easy 8-7hrs. of sleep, but when we have a Camaro run, I only get 4-3hrs of sleep Im fresh as a daisy. Hmmmmmmm...? Oh well!

Today was a blast everyone, and such a huge and interesting turnout. Great food, great friends, and cold ****in weather! Hahahahaha! I wish I could have taken more pictures, but it was a tad bit too cold to so. Thanks to everyone for coming out and well see ya when it begins to get warmer out. Till then, chat away folks.
