Honestly though, when it was wide open and revving there was something about the note I didn't like. Can't put my finger on it, but it sounded muffled/restricted. Idle and low-end full throttle sounded NASTY though, my heart skipped a beat.

Not to mention the handling that car was showing...WOW! If the production car handles nearly that good then we're in for a treat.
Maybe their trying to drive us nuts by muffling the sound of the car, seeing how far they can push us.

I cant quite put my finger on it and it doesn't quite sound like my Ls3 to me. Even with the marginal sound quality it sounds like we're seeing something completely new.

I honestly dreamed about this car and video clip last night. Seeing it in motion and hearing it is so much more tangible than just pics.

Like some have said it's a test car afterall and still a work in progress so I'm sure they're tweaking the sound even more. Expect something even better IMO.

I agree, I'm crossing my fingers that we get something new under the hood... Generation V anyone ???

I doubt sounding good is something we need to worry about much with the new Camaro. GM is on it! --> http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3737

Was that T-tops I saw around 2:25? Looked like 2 faint ridges down the roof.

OMFG!!! That was great!!! Thanks Chief!!! I've been wondering where our dose of spy information has been lately. This video looks like it was where the first 'Ring video had it's shots come from because many of the clips look very familiar. But hey; I'm not complaining

First - I think it sounds pretty good for what it is. What I mean is that considering it has to pass all those sound tests and crap, it still sounds nice. I still stand by my observation (and possibly one of others that I haven't noticed/remembered) that it sounds kinda' 'Vett-ish, which I think many Camaro enthusiasts will be happy about. I can remember reading many posts from other fanatics wondering how to make a Camaro sound like a 'Vette (a 'Vette sound with aftermarket exhaust) and I think this will probably get as close as possible. It seems like the shots from the rear obviously show dual exhaust since you can easily see the mufflers and I think I can see some dual pipes in the undercarriage too. Having said that, I'd be willing to place a bet that a dual-mode exhaust option may come up on the top of the line model down the road. If so, I think that would be pretty cool.

Second - I like how everything seems to tuck under the car too. I didn't particularly like the undercarriage packaging of 4th Gens. (but I can understand there were likely constraints the engineers had to cope with) but from little I have seen of the 5th., I likey a lot. It doesn't seem as low slung as a 4th. Gen. either though; which I don't mind because I'd like to find enough room for some side pipes (although, from the few undercarriage shots I have, the fuel tank looks to be in the way...) But I digress...

Thanks for this cool video ;D
