Yep, I live about two miles from there. If you were in the black Camaro I was going to wave but couldn't tell if you were looking...sorry.

Thanks, I thought the black one at the stop light may have been you.

I bet you all had a great day, I was all ready to leave then my Mother In Law got up sick and we though we were going to have to take her to the emergency room. She got to feeling better later so my wife and I got out in the car for about an hour.

Sorry about M in Law glad she's feeling better....Tim...the best part was doing 25 laps around the track. After the autocross was over you could buy 10 laps for $25 (the proceeds went to charity) so me and another guy in my class (5.0 Mustang GT) finished our last run headed over to the track. At that time others were still running so the pace car took just the 2 of us on. They had given us strick rules at the morning meeting no laying back to get a big run....don't pass anyone or the pace car and he will get you to about 70mph. We took off they were almost 1/4 lap ahead by the end of lap one. I was in 4th gear 90mph and could not catch them. I was on supposed to get 10 laps but he kept on going bye the end of 25 laps they had 3/4 lap on me. It was a lot of fun and I can appreciate the nascar guys (43 cars) doing this side by side for hours at much higher speeds and for hours...great day.

I did that a couple times when I had my Saturn Sky, it was fun... I hope you turned off your stability control and traction control on the track. I forgot to and it caused my brakes to overheat one time...

Hope to see everyone at the second annual Sharon Parrott Memorial Car Show on Saturday, May 31st at Mt Harmony Baptist Church @ 6500 Strawberry Plains Pike in Knoxville. Registration is 8:00am-10:00am with awards at 3:00pm. Of all the car shows I went to last year, this one was the best, and it is for a great cause benefitting Hope Resource Center.
