If it is rare it is because people are not buying them (not saying this is really the case). As opposed to a 70s, 60s or older classic where people have actually had to maintain or restore them and keep them running. No new stock car should get a prize like this.

I agree that no new stock car should get a prize...shouldn't be eligible for at least 10 years unless significant modifications are done to the vehicle. |

Maybe they want their CHALLENGER forum exclusive to CHALLENGER owners...
I cant blame them at all, kinda wish we had more Camaro people on here, as it seems like 25% of people on here are Mustang owners.

Check your facts, according to Dodge their Challenger SRT8 weighs 4,140#.
According to GM the Camaro SS weighs 3,849#. That is a 291 pund difference, that is not even in the same ball park.

tell me about it, i have looked at alot of the people posting in the gt500 thread and looked up their posts. They only post in a thread that has something to do with a Ford, so they can throw their $.02 in about how Fords are so much better than Chevys, of wich most of these people reference cars they neither own, or have even driven.

It seems as though when the Camaro was a concept the Ford kids didnt think much of it, but now that its a reality they feel the need to come here and bash on the car. Now what was the definition of trolling again...? |

Well I own a SRT Challenger. I love it, and I made the right choice and got the car I wanted, but I will tell you that I have a ton of respect for the Camaros. I think there great cars and I am happy for those of you that like them. I am a Moderator on a Challenger forum and I dont stand for and trashing of the Camaro....Maybe the Mustang from time to time...lol I run a more mature forum...Hell we just hit 3K members the other day, so it is much smaller than this forum. I am truly upset that a few idiots have started to give us a bad reputation in the BowTie comunity. You can bench race the two cars all day long, but the bottom line is that we have 4 Camaro SS's here in town that I am aware of. We have raced at the track several times. The winner is who ever gets the better launch. I dont care what motortrend, auto week....ect says. There is one Challenger forum in particular that has a bunch of idiot fan boys...That is not my forum. I go on Challenger cruises all the time and would love to link up and cruise with you guys as well. Its all American muscle anyways right
