Jess, Sugar's 2013 ZL1 was rattling and I took it in, ( I still have to drive her ) and when I got the car back I noticed that the oil wasn't changed. Not too good with engines, if they replace the whole Supercharger, don't they have to change oil?
On a personal note, the Corvette is at Callaway as we speak.

No. There is no engine oil in the supercharger or intake manifold.

There is no supercharger oil. The bearings are packed with grease.

Yeah, I'd probably be looking at another 2013.

I am torn on, and feel like I should replace the isolator like I did on my last ZL1 to prevent any future issues anyways, instead of waiting on another potential problem to pop up and be covered under warranty.

Thanks for the opinions guys!

I will say that you were the first and only guy I PMed when I bought my ZL1. Your first recommendation was the address the isolator. I'd think you would do the same. I'm confident you're going to come out with a beast in any direction you go.

That said, you sure you don't want to drive my GTR? It's now a full bolt on car and faster than any ZL1 car here. You should absolutely know you're more than welcome to put mine through her through her pace's...

That isn't what this threads about. Let's try to keep this on track

(Fwiw, when I say "here", I'm talking about locally. It would be kind of asinine to assume there are no faster than me ZL1s in the country.)

Jess, Guys, I told the service man at Classic to have them change the oil
while they had my car and he said if they are replacing the SC then they would have to replace the oil.
When I received the car back the oil said it was at 76%. Before anyone pops me, I know it isn't a car it' a ZL1

The oil didn't HAVE to be replaced, as was correctly stated earlier none of the engine oil ever makes contact with any of the supercharger parts. I think that oil is at 76% is based on the computers analysis of how the car has been driven and the mileage and not an actual oil sample reading. The dealer probably just forgot to reset it when they did the oil change. If you swing by they can probably rest it in a minute and it will say 100% again.

If you paid for an oil change and they didn't do it then you have an issue, otherwise it should not be a problem at all as everyone has already stated.
