Thinking of trading up Two Years :) 1LE UPDATED
Thinking of trading up to a 2015 1ss/1LE. Cars loaded!! No RS package but with the 1le package the only thing I lose is the Gauges and the Halos! Car has HUD NPP Backup Cam and Recaro seats. $41,000. Does that sound High?? Are the 14/15's really much different besides the refresh front and back? bumpers? I have a 2013 1LE.
Actually found out the car is a 2SS/1LE without the RS package. Please PM me your input Last edited by skipinminn; 09-21-2015 at 11:30 PM. |

Considering the mark down I've been seeing on these I think that is a little high. It varies by location as well, but in my area 1SS 1LEs with NO Recaros are going for 36-37k. If I were you I would push for 38-39k at most.

If it has a HUD I assume you are referring to a 2SS. Anyway, I would think it would be a waste of money. You are not picking up any performance. You would be better off waiting for a 2017 1LE. If you don't like the new 2016 refresh then maybe look at a used ZL1. They are going in the low to mid 40s now. At least you will pickup some performance for the money.

Unless your trading up to a ZL1 or 6th Gen 2SS with mag ride then your wasting your time and money IMHO

I'd say u aren't getting enough of a benefit to trade up. I agree with what Kaboom said above. If you want to spend some money and make what you've got a little better/faster, there's plenty of fun things you can do. Just read around a bit on this forum. Plus I read Chevy was already testing the 6th Gen ZL1 and what looked like a 1LE.

I gotta agree with the rest. Unless you've got money to burn, keep what u have until either the 2016 1LE comes out (and u want it) or a reasonably priced ZL1 or Z28 becomes available. That being said, do what u want.

I have a 2SS 1LE with almost all options except RS package and Recaro seats.
I got Nav, Backup Camera, Sunroof, and NPP Exhaust. Brand new for $35K So unless you really but I mean really want to upgrade because you like the Color DIC and the color HUD there is no difference in power, handling, or performance. You are however are going to spend a lot of money. $41K is a lot of money for pretty much a old gen Camaro. If I were you either get the 50th Anniversary Camaro SS in 2017 or just keep the one you have. The 2013 1LE is a rare car to begin with.

$41K is a bit high especially with the '16's coming out just around the corner. Other than the front and rear makeover there's no difference from '13 and '14/15's. I'd stay with what you've got. If it's a 1SS/1LE, how does it have HUD? that's not part of a 1SS optioned car.
