wasnt exactly commenting about you, just the whole "ricer" talk gets me going, just because i have racing stripes that are green and green halos with green leds under the car i get a lot of "ricer" trash talk on this forum and everywhere else..people just throw that word around when they are just plain out jealous as hell of your car..so they put it down and act like they dont like it when secretely they dream of it. but the last few months ive been on this site and talking to friends that go to car shows, you cant even have a non lip style spoiler without the whole "ricer" crap..but nothing was intended towards you just that word..lol..sorry if it sounded otherwise..

Ahh, haha, okay i understand, yeah ive heard a lot of that recently its fine, ive heard way too many people calling the Camaro a ricer lately, i didnt really mean anything against Camaros or Mustangs or Challengers, its understandable though the ricer craze is enough to get anyone to blow their lid, LOL, admittedly i probly kinda went overboard in my frustration, sorry, lol

Actually while on the topic of your car, thats badass dude, LOL, i love that color scheme, i was gonna try to shoot for a black Camaro with red halos and factory orange or aftermarket red stripes, get the red ambient lighting in the interior and swap out the dome light for a red LED ^_^ I saw a funny post on here somewhere that made a good point, ricers are all about small displacement, tons of decals, and turbos right now and we went through that phaze in the early 80s, we got out of it and now we've moved on to bigger and better things, hahaha, that post made me happy,

Offering a 427 in a production Camaro is any muscle car lover's dream, also the LS7 has 505hp compared to the LSA's 550, but the LS7 is an all motor car and can most definatly be re-cammed to the 550 mark and new heads could put it to around 600 even (its been seen in the LS3 already, GMperformanceparts.com is offering a cammed and head-swapped LS3 with around 480hp so we know it can be done and mass produced that way) Also the LS7 has forged internals as well, another major plus

So here's a list of the advantages of offering the LS7
1. Everyone has always wanted a 427 in their Camaro
2. It can match the GT500 competition without a supercharger
3. It has forged internals so it will be more durable than the LSA
4. With very slight mods it can easily match or surpass the LSA's horsepower
5. If you're not content with your rediculous power, you can supercharge the LS7 to god knows where, LOL

Isn't the LS7's compression ratio or something too high to safely supercharge?
