I purchase a set for the 2012, and the swapped them onto the 2014, so I'm familiar with the install. |

As the season approaches, I am trying to think about what I need to do before I reactivate the tags.. New tires are a must (not looking forward to that cost), and I am going to do a brake fluid flush on the Z and the Mustang. Trying to decide between the Castrol SRF and the Endless RF-650. Also, I need a power bleeder. Any thoughts on the Motive power bleeder? I will also need this to bleed the hydraulic clutch on the grandson's Honda.

My dealer has a Fifty. Discounted to $42,699. Thinking about it. Just a little.

Going to get an Auto for now. Or manual and have me drive it home for you.

I'm using the Castrol SRF right now...I like it. And the really high wet boiling point means longer periods between changes...since I drive my car all year, that was a must. That said...the cost is hard to stomach sometimes...I might switch back to ATE 200 ($18/L), and just change it once a year or in between track days. I used that stuff back when I had the '12 ZL1. |

I've found a vacuum bleeder (Mityvac) works ok to flush the fluid then put the wife in the car and bleed the brakes the old fashioned way. If you do a good job with the Mityvac you might not even need the wife.
