It's a $2000.00 option on the Corvette. I'm sure that has profit built in...it's very pricey...but it's not that expensive.
I think the Z28 will start somewhere between 46k and 49k, with probably $5000.00 in available options (not including wheel options). I came up with this number by comparing the 3.6L CTS to the Camaro LT and considering that the car will offer comparable (but much better) performance to the GT500....but I think Ford has inflated the GT500's price a little bit because they have no Corvette to worry about. |

Umm am I missing something here?? The Camaro has a small price premium over the mustang, what make people the Z/28 will be any different when compared against the 2012 GT500??
The GT500 with that SVT package cost about 51k , and 53k when optioned out, so I say the Z/28 base price point would be 52.5k and 54.5k when optioned out. I am not expecting that many options for the Z/28. JMVHO. |

As I said, my opinion is the GT500 is slightly overpriced because it can be. I don't think the Z28 needs to be priced at a premium if they can do more for less.

Question: Do you think the mag ride control suspension will be optional or standard? Depending on if it's optional or standard, that will most definitely affect the base price of this vehicle.
My base price guesses: MRCS optional = $48,995 MRCS standard = $50,995 |

I figure it will be close to the Shelby 500 price about 55000+. I also feel it will called a SC -SS.
