bigger cars have a bigger demand and have been more profitable...now they are forcing them to make smaller cars...demand be damned!...its all about the "environment" in my opinion a phony unproven wacky science its a scam to control the masses ...just watch quantam of solice...see how the bad guy looks kind of like al gore and he's pushing environmentalism "please don't delete my thread mods"

You know it is kinda funny how the Gov is gonna mandate that the companies make small cars...... regardless of whether or not people want to buy them.
Sure there are those Sheeple (sheep-people.. get it) that will buy anything just because its there, and would love the small car if it was an option..... but still, whatever happen to that free enterprise sh!t where the customer actions dictate what happens. anyway, the New Gas Regs dont meen an end to the Z28. If they can keep making the Corvette, why wouldnt the be able to put a Corvette engine in a Camaro? How big of a difference would it really be? |

Read the actual rules It's fleet (company-wide) average, not a model-by-model basis. So long as they sell a healthy amount of little econo-boxes, we'll still have our performance vehicles

i will not buy anything unless its bigger than my bed, kick ass looking, has good hp numbers, and has decent gas mileage.
hence why i like the camaro, and not the prius or smart car thing. |
