Hi Cornerspeed , If you come to RA let me know , would love to watch you race , You should be able to go about as fast as the car can do in the straights .

You hope to make it back? man it is the greatest track in North America , Your Camaro would really appreciate if you took it where it was meant to be 4.2 miles of awesome-ness

Keeping in mind I have a 2010, in the beginning I would push it on the straightaway and would see speeds around 140-5 mph, but the front end got real light. So now I try not to go over 135 mph in order to keep the front end from floating. If/when I vent the hood I may push it again.

Here are a few vids from a rainy weekend.....
Foggy...

Raining and super wet....

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Its about lapping not racing. Its about the experience, the enjoyment. I think if you tried you would find out it is fun.

Maybe I will see you up there this year. It is always nice to have a few more Camaro's around to show those Ford boys how it is done.

Here are a few shots from there as well.

Between turn 2 and 3

Coming out of turn 14 up the front stretch.

Coming out of turn 5.

BTW,if you think we need a separate AutoX, Road Course, HPDE section then go here.....

You have a beautiful car Sir.

Have you thought about a front splitter to help reduce front end lift? Maybe one like the 1LE or similar.

Yup, it is sitting in the garage. This pic is from an earlier configuration of the car.

I am trying to figure out how to attach it via "Zeus" screws, or some other temporary way, and then use the scoops for air to the brakes. I just never find the time.
