Hi guys well just got home from a car show with the car. All I can say is I only got on it a couple times and luckily I was close to home so I could change my pants! It feels like there are 2 motors under the hood for some reason. Here is a link to the dyno runs: http://www.lingenfelter.com/LPEforum...read.php?t=657
I am wondering if my rear end, axle shafts and driveshaft will hold up. I might have to be a little carefull.

Here are a couple pics of the motor. Just got everything ready to go to the track tomorrow for Lingenfelter Track Day. Should see some good 1/4 mile times. The weather is not looking real great 91 and very humid but we will have to make the best of it.

Good luck Paul. Last word was that rain would hit Muncie around 3....well...at least the runs start at 10 am. So, you should get a handful of runs in.
Update....Looks like some heavy rain came close to hitting as I write this. Are we going to see some races between Paul and the LPE race car? Update...looks like rain has gone away....and probably won't be back

Well we had a great day. There were a lot of cars. The only bad part was it was 90 and extremely humid even sprinkled a couple times. Traction was an issue for me even with a set of 18 in wheels and a good set of tires that Lingenfelter let me borrow. One of my runs after the burn out on the line I smoked the tires 1st, 2nd and 3rd then hitting the revlimiter. The track got worse as the day went on unfortunately I was late getting there it was after 11am. My best run was a 10.528 at 134.36. Lingenfelter's LS9 car broke into the 9s. I think if I can get some sort of slicks for the back end and a cooler day or night I can get some better times. The car ran like a beast much better then I ever thought or even could have imagined. This was only my second time ever being at a 1/4 track so better times will come with more practice. Lingenfelter track support was awesome the crew was constantly helping people get their cars dialed in. It sure makes it easier at the track while having assistance from professionals like the LPE crew. I also have to say thanks to LPE for putting this fun day on! They will be posting videos on their in a couple days.

Good going Paul! You can certainly make some more time up with more passes and slicks....I think you have 10.3xs in that build no problem in this weather....skies the limit in good weather.
What was the LPE LS9 time...do you remember?

I forget but I know it's in the 9s. I am sure I can get low 10s when I get the hang of it. My motor was only around 10 rwhp different then the LS9 car but mine is 7 liters and the LS9 is 6.2 liters. They estimated that my motor was at least 875 at the crank.

Paul, those are some impressive time's. I bet with some good traction and weather and of course more time behind the wheel you too will be in the 9's. congrats and I'm glad you had a good time.
