My old 1995 mazda millenia s came with 15 psi roots type supercharger straight from the factory and made 210 hp from a 2.3 liter v6. 15 psi on forged isn't anything

There's no replacement for Power + traction with lite weight. Displacement doesn't mean what it used to.
Back in the old days going bigger was just about the only way to make more power. Not today. |

If "competition is good for us" theory was true then GM would of been making year to year improvements to the SS instead of leaving it basically the same since its concept 7 years ago. GM still hasn't improved the SS' performance since its release 3 years ago but it competitor has had two significant waves of improvement the past 3 years.
