I agree, but that doesn't mean the RX-8 isn't a performance vehicle. It really comes into its own a road course with a good driver who knows when to downshift.

i gotta say... the two rx-8's i've drove were pretty awesome.
well... the auto wasn't quite as fun - not because of the transmission, but because it was my friend's mom's car & i couldn't beat on it :(
the standard one, however, was a used one on a dealer lot, so...

I hate when the ricer's (domestic and import) make a band name for any real car enthusiast in the city by street racing. Take it to a track if you think your car is hot shit.

I always have to laugh at a stupid kid in a riced out Honda that blows by you on the interstate because you know that he feels his car is really fast because he managed to get it up to 85 when traffic is flowing at 70.
