I agree on all counts. Which is why I sort of gave up on this tune. My buddy (BuddyLok) really loves sound mods. So he still wants to see this through. Since im his tuner, I will tune it till he's satisfied =p.

It will not be much louder... I've said this after I posted the first tune test. It's just changing the rhythm of your current exhaust note.

Hey jagan. Did you see my thread about making a tune that would have the car idle like a cold start all the time with ghost cam? Do you think that could work? My ghost cam was super loud during the cold start.

yeah the whole point of the higher rpms on a cold start is to warm up your engine. so if you're constantly running them at a high rpm its going to 1) use more gas and 2) make your engine run at much higher temp. Sometimes it just isn't worth it..

Yea, i did see your thread on it. I didn't post on there because there was good info already lol. And yeah, it would work, but would you really want to do that? Like everyone said, it's just not efficient going down that road.

Personally, i think Vince has done an awesome job with this tune, just proves that he can do pretty much anything. But if I was going to want it to sound like a cammed car, I'd wait for actual cams =p

I'm not talking about it being active all the time. Have it just like it is not how it goes back normal during driving and is only active when sitting still at idle

The point is you can sound cammed and still be efficient while adding a little more power to the rear wheels.

Ghost Cam Video on Youtube

I'm looking at getting electric cutouts for my V6 and ran across this on my search. A 2010 Camaro RS with Airaid CAI, JBA Headers, Pypes electric cutouts, Flowmaster exhaust system, and custom Trifecta performance tune with Ghost Cams. This sounds good with the cutouts.

I don't know if this has been seen here but I haven't seen it as of yet since I'm subscribed to this thread.

does not sound good at all on a V6, it almost sounds like something is broke or it could be just the horrible vid

+1

But having cutouts adds an option that wasn't mentioned before to help sound more aggressive

Does that void the warranty at all?

which? The tune or cutout? The Tune voids powertrain warranty, IF GM finds out.
