Yep. In agreement there!

But, keeping the same shifter in the car would be okay, I guess. I just like looking down at my current shifter and seeing that imprinted "H" on top of my leather shifter. I like that.

Will probably get the short-shifter and just use my existing Momo.

This isn't it but it's close:

I'm also looking at a Momo shift knob and boot for my Hurst STS. This is the one I'm leaning towards. Even with the little bit of leather on the knob, I'll still have to have some type of cloth in the car for those very hot days. I don't care though, because I like the look.

i think i'll just pull the stock knob out of my GMC & use it.
actually the pistol grip looks pretty mean. that might be an option for me.

This is what I have now... I might get another one just like it for the new car. It looks really good in my current car because I have white seats and gauge faces.

Probably a Hurst, but if MGW decides to make one, I'm all for it.

CONCEPT SHIFTER FTW!!!!!!

Haha, I'd love nothing more than to see someone make a kit to replace the boot with the concept's shifting gates and the shifter with its all-metal ball-shaped shifter. That was one of my favorite parts of the concept's interior and I'm really disappointed that hardly anything from that portion made it to production.

If that look can be incorporated with a short-throw system, so much the better.

I'm just a big fan of gates rather than a boot b/c I think it looks far cleaner and more elegant and the shape of the concept's shifter looked very menacing, purposeful, and ergonomic.

/Sorry, this is one of my bigger interests.

I had a hurst super shifter in one of the 69's I used to have and loved it. Short strokes make it happen faster.

i'll be getting the hurst shifter, didn't think twice when i saw it was offered. my dad had a 68 camaro rs, and said when he got a muncie shifter in it, it was a massive improvement over stock.... but yeah i'd like a ball, brushed stainless finish if possible, w/1-6-R engraved in it.... lol... i might be asking for too much
