Auto rule of thumb has always been about 20 and manual about 15...give or take.

Not trolling, just expecting faster in stock trim. Hopefully as people get more time with the car the times will get better.
well if you think about if your running 12.6 with 550hp 3850LBs vs 12.5 580hp vs 4100lbs the math is not far off but I think everone expected faster because well the CTS-V has less HP and is faster.

As far as launch control everthing I have seen so far says it is not as good and a good drvier so I am not sure they nailed that. the launch control is consistant but slower.

that changes the picture quite a bit. ha ha. 100 less hp does slow a car down. ha ha.

Dam I am going to take my cammed SS out hunting for ZL1s LOL. Actually I am sure that times will improve, I am sure there are tricks to getting this thing to launch correctly. I will say I was expecting more out of the auto car though.

What was done to the car to achieve 567rwhp?? I am guessing that is a typo. Nevermind saw the corrected.

one would hope your not trying to make the stock numbers look bad so the non stock numbers look good. And I would trust your guys can drive so i would have expected atleast what chevy says it could do but was hoping for better with the right driver. Not thrilled with those numbers at all in fact i spent all day trying to secure a 2013 allocation and now i am not so sure i want one. I am not buying the car for staight line only but at that price and 580hp it should do better than that

It's pretty humid down in Houston today. And the track is facing an 11mph headwind. Probably not the best day for running good times.

I agree, but I wouldn't expect it to get much better over time...as Hennessey says...might grow to 480 to 490 rwhp after more miles are put on the car. I'd expect the car to be able to trap a few 10ths better as well.

No need to worry people!!

In my mind, the car is certainly capable of hitting 11s with the right tires and correct DA.

So a stock auto ZL1 on DR's isn't going to easily outrun a bolt-on LS3 or L99 cars on DR's?
