I got the car back Tuesday afternoon. The main problem was the fuel injection pump. They replaced it along with the sensor, two pipes, and a gasket (package deal, naturally). Then all was well except for a little problem of cylinder #6 misfiring. They actually asked me if I had tuned it (I have not). After much head scratching, they finally arrived at the problem being that the rocker arms controlling the valves had reversed, meaning intake opened the exhaust valves and vice versa. Turns out cylinders don't work well that way. After they figured that out (at no extra charge, how nice) I gave them $1286 and I was on my way.

Might be another month or so before I drop that order for a 2017. But hey, good news is now I'm not stuck at home and get to go back to work.

Chris, glad you got your baby back . And really think you should get the 50th anniversary one . Just saying .

Ok so had my medical stuff looked at and it is NOT any cardiac issues but there looking at some other stuff, at least that's good news. Should be able to make the next one.

For all who are interested in the Advance Auto Parts show, tomorrow morning (Saturday). I would like to meet ahead of time in the Parking lot of Milanos Pizzaria on Tharp St. That way we can make a short ride to the show together. The show begins at 10AM so I would like to meet at Milanos at 9:30AM.
