The last two years the Edmonton crew has started out at the Ikea parking lot in South Edmonton. We then go south and meet up with the Calgary Crew in Red Deer for photo ops. Then on to Rocky Mountain House for lunch. Out to the Saskatchewan River Crossing and then either North or South depending on the year. Hope this helps, is it spring yet!!!!!!

Just looked at my new schedule and I have June 16, 17 and 18th off!

Now if I can just get rid of this darn drain tube and get back on my feet!

I'm feeling a lot better now. I still have the drain tube, but hope to get rid of it in a couple days. If my diabetes behaves and I don't get another infection, I should be home free!

Not my intention to jack this thread away from John and Layla, but as I am in Siberia while everyone sleeps I'll answer your question. The Cruise this year is planned for the 16th of June as it stands right now. How it has worked before is that the Northern Crew meets at the Ikea parking lot in South Edmonton Common Saturday morning. We depart the parking lot and head south to meet up with the Southern crew who leave from Calgary, I believe they meet up at the Sears parking lot, Meltdownaverted knows where they start and will hopefully chime in. We meet for pictures in Red Deer, last year I believe it was the Costco parking lot that we met at. From there we travel West to Rocky Mountain House for Lunch as a group. Last year we took over Boston Pizza. Thanks Again to Kray for her help in planning that. After lunch we head to Saskatchewan River Crossing with a stop for more photos at Abraham Lake and the Park Gate. After we reach the crossing some will go north and some will go south, the plan this year is to go South as we went North last year. John aka 68RS will have more details as the planning comes together, I hope this helps out.

if all else fails caswell i have two spare rooms at my place. i'm southwest of the southside of edmonton, but still be cheaper then another hotel room. keep me posted

i'm still rallying for going to jasper, but looks like majority is still wanting to do banff

if we end up heading the banff direction, another thought to toss out is staying in louise at the baker creek challets. we stayed there sept long weekend last year and they have cabins that will sleep 8-12 people i believe. could be something to look into if we are planning on having some late night partying anyways

Hey thanks kitty, talked to my buddy today he said hell be in town and is actually gonna come on the cruise with me! So I'm down for this cruise.

After we stay in banff what's the agenda. We all just caravan back to calgary and everyone goes there ways?
